HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio factory data reset



Performing factory data reset ( master reset or hard reset ) HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio via Settings menu and external keys:

Performing a factory reset from settings

  1. From the Home screen  press Menu key
  2. tap Settings.
  3. Tap Storage
  4. tap Factory data reset
  5. Tap Reset phone
  6. tap Erase everything

Warning! All data will be erased from device memory, including system and application data, settings and downloaded applications. Back up your important data.  The device will restore to factory settings.

If your phone hangs or does not responding, Press and hold power key about 10 seconds.  It will rebooting automatically.  Or remove and re insert the battery and SIM Card.

Performing a factory reset using hardware buttons

  1. Remove the battery, wait for a few seconds, then reinsert the battery.
  2. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then briefly press the POWER button.
  3. Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the VOLUME DOWN button.
  4. Press VOLUME DOWN to select FACTORY RESET, and then press the POWER button.

Performing a soft reset HTC Sensation XE

If HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio is running slower than normal, an application is not performing properly, or HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio becomes unresponsive, try restarting HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio and see if that helps solve the problem.

  1. If the display is off, press the POWER button to turn it back on.
  2. Unlock the display.
  3. Press and hold the POWER button, and then tap Restart.
  4. When asked to confirm, tap Restart.

If these steps don’t work, you can remove and reinstall the battery, and then turn HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio on to restart it.

    i update my sensation xe with beats audio to ics but am having problems updating d other system improvement update cos its not updating. what can i do cos my phone is kinda slow since the upgrade

    what happens to our phone when you format the system in your phone??

      your phone will restore to factory default settings and your data will be lost. Back up your data before to do a hard reset
